You need to perform some simple but essential basic checks:
First, make sure that the TV, the set-top box, and the router are all turned on.
Especially for the set-top box, check that the indicator light is steadily on. The light should be solid red when in standby mode or white when the set-top box is operating.
Check that all cables are properly connected and securely plugged into their ports.
Make sure the TV is set to the correct AV channel/input (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
