Your phone number is determined by your area of residence. If you move to a region with the same area code, you can keep your number. Otherwise, you will receive a new phone number with the area code of your new address, free of charge.

Example 1: You are in Athens and have the number 210-xxxxxxx. You move to another area within Athens that also has the 210- area code. You can keep your number.

Example 2: You are in Athens and have the number 210-xxxxxxx. You move to Thessaloniki, which has the 231 area code. You will receive a new phone number in the format 231-xxxxxxx.
