By enabling parental controls, you can manage access to all Vodafone TV content.

On the main screen, select SETTINGS. The menu will open—stay on the Parental Control option. There, you’ll see four options (PIN Management, Content Rating Management, Channel Lock, Purchases), each described in detail below:

PIN MANAGEMENT

In the Parental Control section, where PIN is mentioned, it refers to the default PIN 1234. We recommend changing the default 1234 to a code known only to adults via the PIN MANAGEMENT option. If you’ve changed the PIN and can’t remember the new one, contact Tobi on live chat or call 13830 for assistance.

CONTENT RATING MANAGEMENT

When you select this, you’ll see a scale with six levels (“K” suitable for all, “8” suitable for ages over 8, “12” suitable for ages over 12, “16” suitable for ages over 16, “18” suitable for ages over 18, “Adult Content”). You can choose whichever level you deem appropriate, and by selecting it, all subsequent levels will automatically be locked as well. For example, if you lock level “12”, levels “16”, “18”, and “Adult Content” will also be locked.

If you’ve selected “12” and want to view content at this rating, you’ll be prompted to enter the PIN before playback begins.

If for “Adult Content” you’ve chosen “Show Content”, you can view posters and artwork for adult movies and rent them without entering a PIN. When “PIN Required” is selected, you can’t see posters or artwork for adult movies, and you’ll be prompted for the PIN to rent such content.

Also, with “Hide Content”, you can’t see the poster or description for adult content and you won’t be able to unlock this content.

Note: If you’ve selected one of the Adult Content options, K-18 content is unlocked. If you choose to lock any of the K to 18 levels, “Adult Content” will revert to the hide option, with the corresponding result. The reverse does not apply—choosing to hide does not automatically lock K-18 content; you must select it separately.

CHANNEL LOCK

This option displays all available channels, and you can easily manage them with your remote. Select the channel you want to lock, and it will move to the “locked” list. Then select OK. If you want to watch a locked channel, you’ll be prompted to enter the PIN.

PURCHASES

In the PURCHASES section, you can manage Vodafone TV’s paid content. By selecting PIN ENABLED, a PIN will be required every time someone tries to watch paid content.
