Ό,τι ψάχνεις για τα προγράμματα και τις υπηρεσίες της Vodafone
If you are traveling or living in an area that borders another country, you may automatically connect to a neighboring country’s mobile network and be charged according to that country’s applicable roaming rates.
You can tell you’re roaming if you see the name of a foreign mobile network at the top of your phone’s screen instead of Vodafone Greece. Additionally, as soon as you connect to a foreign network, you’ll receive a text message with relevant information about that country’s roaming charges.
To avoid automatically connecting to a foreign mobile network, you should manually select the Vodafone GR network from your device’s settings:
If you have an Android device
Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Manual network selection (slide the switch to the left) and select the "Vodafone GR" network.
If you have an iOS device
Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Automatic (slide the switch to the left so it turns gray instead of green) and select the "Vodafone GR" network.
You also have the option to completely block roaming services. However, if you choose to fully block roaming, you won’t be able to receive or make calls, send SMS, or browse the Internet while abroad. Therefore, remember to reactivate roaming before you travel abroad. To deactivate roaming, open the My Vodafone app and follow these steps:
My Services > Roaming > Roaming (International Networks) and slide the "Roaming (International Networks)" switch to the left to change it from “Active” to “Inactive”.
