Vodafone Cloud is closing down on 1 November 2015

New customers will no longer be able to register from 15 July 2015. If you are an existing Cloud customer, please download any content you want to keep before 1 November 2015.

 

Vodafone Cloud allows you to access all of your content from all your favourite devices. You can upload, download and access your photos, videos, music and other files from your devices (smartphone, laptop & tablet). Plus with Vodafone Cloud you get peace of mind knowing that your personal files are safe and secure.

So what does it cost?

Vodafone Cloud is available to all pay as you go and bill pay Vodafone mobile customers and includes 5GB free storage. Content uploaded to the Cloud using the 3G network is free of charge in terms of data usage.

We recommend doing your first backup over Wifi as you may have lots of photos and videos stored on your smartphone which you would like to upload to the Cloud.

What is the best way to download my content from Vodafone Cloud?

We recommend downloading any content you saved to your Vodafone Cloud simply vist the Cloud website on your PC.



How do I download the content saved on my Vodafone Cloud via the Cloud website?

To download any content you saved to your Vodafone Cloud simply vist the Cloud website on your PC and log in. On the homepage you will see the list of files you have saved under 'all files'. Simply select the files you want to download and select 'download' at the top of the screen. As soon as you click 'download' your files will start automatically downloading.

 

How do I download the content saved on my Vodafone Cloud via the Cloud app?

To download content saved on your Vodafone Cloud, simply open the Vodafone Cloud app on your mobile > select 'all files' in the menu > click open > long press on one file > select 'all' from the drop down menu and then select 'download'. We recommend that you connect to Wi-Fi before downloading your content from Vodafone Cloud to avoid data charges. If you have a lot of files to download we also recommend downloading your content from Vodafone Cloud onto your PC via the Cloud website.

 

What happens to my content if I don’t download it before Vodafone Cloud shuts down?

All Vodafone Cloud accounts will be deleted on 10 November 2015. If you do not download any content you wish to keep before this date it will be automatically and permanently deleted and you will not be able to retrieve it.

 

Does Vodafone have any alternative products I can use to keep my mobile content safe?

Yes. You can use Vodafone Backup+. Backup+ automatically syncs your contacts and backs up your photos, videos and more to Dropbox so you never lose the precious things on your mobile. How do I transfer my content from Vodafone Cloud to Vodafone Backup+?

If you have lots of files saved on Vodafone Cloud, the best thing to do is download them to your PC and then upload them to Dropbox. Once your files are in Dropbox they will be safe and easy to access anywhere alongside any photos or videos you automatically back up to Dropbox from your mobile using Backup+.

 

I currently pay to use Vodafone Cloud. Will I continue to be charged?

If you pay to use Vodafone Cloud you will stop paying as soon as we freeze your account on 8 September 2015. Don't forget, you can cancel your subscription before this time should you wish to by visiting the Cloud website or calling customer care on 13830.
