We've got a lot of quick and easy ways for you to top up your phone.
Top up using scratch cards
- Scratch the surface of the card until the code is revealed
- Dial 1252 free of charge or dial 6944 40 12 54 from a fixed phone (with extra charge)
- Follow the instructions to enter the card code and thus register the recharge value. Please note that the instructions are only available in Greek language.
Remote top up
In case you need to top up your mobile and you cannot buy a recharge card you can ask someone else to do it for you.
Your friend or family member can dial 1254 from their mobile free of charge or use a fixed line to call 6944 40 1254 (with extra charge); Follow the instructions to top up your Vodafone mobile. Please note that the instructions are only available in Greek language. If your friend of family member is a Vodafone contract subscriber, they can top up your phone through their account. To do this, call their number preceded by the flash key (#). This will instigate your request for a top up from them.
Remember to call 1252 and check:
- The credit balance of your mobile
- The most recent date you topped up as well as the expiry date of your balance.
Top up through an ATM
Top up your phone through the ATMs of Alpha Bank, National Bank of Greece and Piraeus Bank
- Insert your cash card in the ATM and dial your personal PIN number as you do for any transaction.
- From the home menu, select: Vodafone MOBILE PHONES.
- Two options appear on the screen, one for Vodafone account payments and one for Vodafone prepaid recharge.
- Select: Vodafone prepaid.
- The screen informs you that you are about to purchase credit by debiting your bank account. If you agree, press: Yes.
- Three alternative options of credit renewal amounts appear on the screen. Select the one you wish
- The ATM issues a payment receipt.
Terms of use for Vodafone recharge cards
- All the pre-paid recharge cards give you the opportunity to make calls with a credit value which is equal to the cost of the card for the next 365 days from the date of its activation
- If you use up the credit value of your calls before the end of the time period, you retain the opportunity to receive calls throughout the period of 365 days.
- The time period of 365 days is the duration in force of the card and cannot be made over to another recharge card.
- You can activate a new recharge card even if you have not used up the credit value of your previous card or have a negative balance on your card. In this case, the balance of your previous card, either positive or negative, will be added to the credit value of the new one.
- If you do not use up the credit value of the recharge card within the time period of 365 days, then you forfeit the right of use of the card's balance.
- If you do not activate a new recharge card within the next 30 days starting from the date of barring of both incoming calls and outgoing calls, then Vodafone retains the right to disconnect your personal telephone number form the Vodafone prepaid scheme.
- All airtime topups include VAT and mobile telephony tax.
